Bread Pudding

A very delicious dessert and yet extremely easy to make.


Bread (older the better) – 200 gms

Dried cranberries – 20 gms

Dried strawberries- 20 gms

Milk – 500 ml

Sugar – 120 gms

Eggs -4


1. In a baking dish layer the bottom with bread.

2. Sprinkle the dried fruits evenly.

3. Repeat the process to get 3 layers in total.

 For the custard

 In a bowl add the milk eggs and sugar and mix well until the sugar dissolves.

Now pour the custard on the bread and let it soak for 10 minutes.

Bake at 140°c for 40 mins

Note :

You can use other dry fruits like figs and raisins.

You can also add cream to the custard mixture for a much richer result.
